I’m Krysten Potega.
Originally from Northern Illinois, I quickly transplanted to the beautiful state of Wisconsin where I still currently reside. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with my Bachelors Degree in Biogeoscience and minors in Geology, Earth Materials, and Adventure Education.
Raised outdoors, I spent most of my childhood fishing both open and hard water chasing anything that would bite. If I wasn’t fishing you could most certainly find me outdoors hunting or exploring nature. Thankfully I was lucky enough to meet my fiancé with whom I share the same passions, so you will always find us on the water or in the woods.
I’m hoping this blog and website helps to educate and inspire you to get outdoor and enjoy everything mother nature has to offer! Sprinkled throughout will be anything from fishing tips and tricks all the way down to foraging and recipes with loads of other content in between.
